On May 12, the Ecuadorian Surfing Federation met with its board and the Presidents of the Ecuadorian Surf Clubs to discuss importants subjects and return to activities after finishing the best possible way the ISA World Junior Championship held in La FAE, Salinas.

At the meeting, it was confirmed the participation of a complete national team for the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games to be held in Costa Rica at the end of July. 2 Open athletes, 2 girls, 2 longboarders, the coach and the team manager will be part of the team.
The National team members will be confirmed after the 4th stop of the National Championship, but the pre-team will be chosen at the end of the 2nd stop according to the ranking.
The Bolivarianos Surfing Games were confirmed as well. They will be held at the waves of La Fae - Salinas next September, with surfers and bodyboarders as the real actors.
And one of the most long-awaited subjects of the meeting had to come; the 2nd stop of the National Championship was confirmed for the 23 and 24 May in Manabí province, at the point of San Lorenzo.
And with this great news, just let's wait for a good swell to come for the 2nd stop.
